Steps To Fix Windows 7 Restart Issues Sysprep Error
Sometimes your system may display an error with Sysprep Windows 7 restart error message. There can be several reasons why this problem occurs.
Don’t suffer from Windows errors anymore.
A fatal error occurred while trying to prepare the computer system. Configuration error. The log entry is located in the WindowsSystem32SysprepPanther directory.
To be honest, I had the worst two weeks of my life starting with this 50 laptop with graphics. Of course, I never wrote this article before using images; However, I feel like I vote pretty quickly on most issues, and on specific issues I’m one hundredLucky, I didn’t know beforehand.
So I’m trying to get SYSPREP on machine a. (various Windows Pro). Everything seems to be fine until it reboots and restarts, then I get a great error message that says “Windows could not complete system setup”. during all start-up services.
I have searched the web and found many women with this problem and many comments, none of which are “official” or even remotely related to my work.
The fact that Kapersky sometimes appears has something to do with this. However, I don’t run the marque. I installed third party options like FortiClient (it’s my personal virus/firewall). Get access to VZ Manager for you, built-in 3G map, Office 2010 Starter and some other activities (like SonicWall NetExtender etc.)
Here’s the problem, how the heck do I know which app is causing this problem (or what else could be causing this problem?). I’m sure there are logging apps in the Panther folder, but I’m worried I can’t access them. I read that you can use these withutility files in the WinPE environment, although I know I’m trying to set them up that way. The only problem is that I can read how to set who is using WAIK, but I have no idea how to use that particular file to access the log files to really understand what the problem is.
The rescue. Given that I’d say the answer is already marked, I’d like to share what I’ve said about this issue, as in my case I seem to have been able to keep the system alive without reinstalling.
I found this article: http://blownlightbulb.blogspot.com/2011/01/fix-windows-could-not-finish.html and it explained how to boot into WinPE depending on the USB drive. I did most of what he said but took a few steps :
- Boot the affected system. If an error message appears in the Start Services item, press Shift+F10 to open the CMD window.
- CD C:WindowsPanther to navigate to the current folder where the logs are located.
- Tracerpt setup.etl -o logfile.csv (check Tracerpt completion syntax on TechNet). In my case, this was considered without predouble jump to other ring folders.
- Notepad logfile.csv opens the firewood file.
- In Notepad, the search failed or failed because you are looking for (in my current case): “Could not digest registry keys, or one of them may be a descendant.” Famous registry keys Note. In my case it was several keys under a branch.
- Back in someone’s command window, regedit will open the laptop or desktop editor and you can navigate to the actual location of the error.
- In case these entries are needed later, I exported this registry branch and saved it in the root folder C: de.
- Delete the affected key and restart your computer.
Why is Sysprep critical during the system imaging process?
Sysprep is a system preparation method that allows you to manipulate Windows images to bring them to a great overall state. This software is present in all Windows installations and this type is very important for preparing the system for cloning and distribution involving multiple computers at the same level.
In a Windows 7 virtual machine (VM), after the first reboot, the following error occurs during the “Sysprep” step: “Windows could not complete system setup. Please restart your computer.” Unfortunately, when you click OK and restart Windows, you get the same error again, without any details. After some research on the internet, I found that this error message appears in theOn Windows 5 and Windows Server 2008 R2 editions, when the original operating system contains a key registry that is also larger than 8 kilobytes (KB). A fix for this issue is provided by Microsoft here and must be applied before running ‘sysprep’ get. The fix is already always included on Windows 7 SP1 systems.
I’m writing this recommendation because – to the best of my ability – I didn’t apply these available fixes before preparing the VM, and also because I encountered a “Windows Surface Texture Error” error that can also occur during a clean install . Windows 7 operating system.
