Method 1: Using Method 1: Troubleshooting
How do I troubleshoot Windows Media Player?
To open the Windows Media Player Troubleshooter, your website must do the following: Step 1: Press the Win + R keys at the same time to open the Run window. Follow two steps: type msdt.exe -id WindowsMediaPlayerConfigurationDiagnostic in our custom box, then click OK when you need to open the troubleshooter. Click “Next” to run the troubleshooter.
Step Click the start button > search box > means “Control Panel” > select the result type.
Step 2: View Control Panel > Large Icons > Click Troubleshoot.
Step 3: Troubleshoot the Window> On the force side of the Control Panel, click Everyone in the view.

Step 6. Just wait while it detects and finds all conditions using Windows Media Player.
Step 7: If a problem is found > four options > apply this fix and ignore this fix Press > apply this fix.
Why is Microsoft media player not working?
1) Try to reinstall Windows Media Player by restarting your computer by doing the following: Enter features in the Start Search menu, glass. Your Windows Media Player should now play the video, if the problem persists, follow Method 3.
Something Method: Using Services
Desktop. Step 1: > click start button > search box > type services > click result.
Step 2: Window > best bet side area > control name > scroll down > two bottles: click Windows Media Player Sharing Services.
Next step 3: Zone > General tab > Launcher Theme > Disabled > Apply > OK.
This should resolve the issue with Windows Media Player and the music video should now play normally. If this doesn’t work consistently, usually go to method 4.
Method 4: Using A Package
Codec Step 1. Open Google.com > search for Media Player Codec Pack > check the first result.

Step 2. On the webpage > click “Upload” > wait for the registration to complete.
Step 3. Usually double-click the installer file to install the new media player codec pack.
