    I have a SQL Server that used to just start a series of random restarts. The problem started a week ago. This is a win and the server hasn’t seen many changes (updates etc.) in the modern past.

    The shutdown of the old system at 11:42:04 directly on 3/15/2008 was unexpected.

    I also saw that there were no up-to-date entries in the Event Viewer logs for two hours and/or until a reboot.
